Crowne Plaza Tainan by IHG

William Lu and his team at the front desk have been excellent, professional and caring. He looked after us and offered to book our transport (train tickets) to Taipei airport. There is great communication in his team. From the moment we stepped to the door till when we left the hotel, we felt very well looked after. Rooms are very clean, Morden and light with lovely view. The service is much better than what we had in the intercontinental Kaohsiung. We should have come straight here and skipped Kaohsiung.

Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful — really made us feel welcome. The breakfast was great, with lots of tasty choices. Our room was comfy and surprisingly quiet, thanks to the good soundproofing. There’s also free parking, which was super convenient. Plus, it’s really close to all the Anping spots we wanted to check out. Totally recommend staying here if you’re visiting Tainan!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Crowne Plaza Tainan in the balcony suite. Janice Lin was our hostess during both check-in and out. Janice was enthusiastic about her work - she explained in detail regarding the hotel facilities and club lounge hours. Janice also guided us to the elevator, which we appreciated as a thoughtful touch. The gym, pool and sauna are excellent places to relax in the hotel. Most importantly you could borrow a bike from the concierge and ride your way to the coast of Anping, where you could admire the sunset. Breakfast was good featuring a wide variety of Asian and Western options. However there is room for improvement regarding the freshness of some offerings. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Crowne Plaza Tainan and would definitely love to come back.
