Crowne Plaza Venice East by IHG

We have stayed here twice now, and are very happy with the service, cleanliness, rooms and food. At dinner we were served by 3 amazing, funny, and professional waiters. The food was really well prepared! Breakfast in the morning was good, too. The beds are comfortable, well beyond what you would expect at a hotel.

Rooms: 4/5 - a star was deducted for the accessible room we got. This was on the main floor where it needs a refresh button needs a reset. The room was big and so was the bathroom. Be careful as the floor tends to over flood a bit due to poor drainage. Service: 5/5 the staff was exceptional! A big shout out to Yuri who assisted me with a matter late a night! I’m grateful to you Yuri. Atmosphere: 4/5 a nice vibe to the place where there’s a restaurant and nice sitting are. Location: 5/5 - location, location, location is perfect. If you’re wanting to visit Venice but want to stay away from the crowds and high hotel prices, this is the place. If you want to be close to the airport, this is the place. If you need to take a cruise , this is the place for a 20-25 minute ride to the cruise terminal. I would definitely stay here again. Happy travels!

Been here before years ago and I still believe it is a good alternative to the madness of Venice hotels and a much cheaper option for those not bothered about a 15 mins train raid to La Serenissima. Lower rate is due to the fact rooms are tired and need some attention even just on standard maintenance. But … staff is very friendly and always helpful, ready to respond to your question and attentive to needs. Breakfast is of good quality and room as big. So with a little effort they should be able to get it right. Thanks for your hospitality.
