Great place in Yantai. All my visitors stay here. The top restaurant has a great view

The hotel is very tall comparing to the buildings near by. The room is clean and comfortable. But the decorations are a bit outdated. The restaurant offers good choice of food for breakfast. The bar closes very early. Nothing much to do if you come late. The photos are taken from the sea view room.

I stayed at this hotel for business purposes in early March. The building appears to have been constructed about 20 years ago, and unfortunately, it has not been well maintained. The aging facilities are quite noticeable. One major inconvenience was the shower. It took about 2–3 minutes for hot water to come through after turning it on. As for the room temperature, it was manageable with the heater running. However, the breakfast buffet restaurant on the first floor was uncomfortably cold. Warm food would lose its heat within just two minutes of being placed on the table. The hotel has a small gym with a few pieces of workout equipment, but the dumbbells were rusty, showing clear signs of poor maintenance. Communication at the front desk was also a challenge, as the female staff member I interacted with could barely communicate in English. On a positive note, the Asian cuisine restaurant on the 47th floor offered decent food and a nice view. However, like the rest of the hotel, it was also quite cold. In terms of location, the nearest shopping mall is about a 10-minute taxi ride (2.5 km) away. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store right across the street. The main reason I stayed here was the lack of alternative options in the area. However, if I have a choice next time, I would prefer to stay elsewhere.
