Nice hotel - great location. stayed for five nights with a family group and it went well. Our room had issues with the shower I kept forgetting to mention to the desk and magically it was fixed by itself on the third day. The room was a good size, clean and well kept up. I thought the whole building looked like it did when I visited in 74 with a group of Marines. Kudos to the valet staff who helped me with my oversized transit van and were timely in every interaction.
Nice Hotel – Great Location This hotel is in a prime spot with easy access to the metro, public transportation, the Pentagon, and Reagan National Airport. You’ll also find plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. The property itself feels a bit dated—still carrying a 70s–80s vibe—so a renovation would be welcome. That said, my room was a good size, very clean, and well maintained. The valet staff were fantastic and took great care of my car. The members lounge was a highlight, offering drinks throughout the day along with breakfast, evening finger foods, and desserts. A special shout-out to the woman at reception (I wish I remembered her name) who was absolutely AMAZING and made check-in a pleasure. Overall, this was a great value for the money, and I had a very pleasant stay.
I had a good stay there. I’m usually very satisfied with the service I receive at Marriott hotels compared to Hyatt or Hilton. The room was great—a comfortable bed and clean, which is always important to me. In reception, the Egyptian woman (I unfortunately don’t remember her name) was AMAZING. The only issue was the elevator. I was on the top floor, and there were many stops before reaching my room. I’m not sure if the other elevators were working, as I typically don’t experience this in other Marriott locations.
