Crystal Sands Hikkaduwa

- RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE ONLY - We recently had the pleasure of dining at Tempest Restaurant of the Crystal Sands with my wife and baby, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The food was exceptionally delicious, with generous portion sizes that offered great value. We ordered spaghetti, pizza, hot buttered cuttlefish, and French fries and croissant pudding —all of which were well-prepared and flavorful. While the French fries portion could have been slightly larger, the overall meal exceeded our expectations. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which added to the positive atmosphere. The setting was peaceful, with a refreshing sea breeze and a stunning bird’s-eye view of the surroundings—perfect for a relaxed evening out. I would highly recommend Tempest to anyone looking for a calm and scenic dining experience with excellent food and service. Extra tip: If possible, try to arrive a bit earlier for the dinner to catch the stunning sunset from the restaurant. Unfortunately, we missed it this time, but it’s something we’ll definitely plan for on our next visit.

Absolute perfection for a girls’ getaway! Crystal Sands was everything we hoped for and more — sleek, modern, and luxuriously private. We went on a ladies’ trip and had the best time! The private pool was an absolute bomb — we spent hours lounging, chatting, and soaking up the sun with the most stunning ocean views right in front of us. The apartment was beautifully designed, spotless, and had all the comforts of home (and then some!). From check-in to check-out, the service was seamless and friendly. It felt like our own little slice of paradise. If you're planning a relaxing escape with friends, this place is unbeatable. Can’t wait to go back!

Me and my wife had a fabulous stay at Crystal Sands. The atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming. From the point of making the reservation, until we checked out it was simply a luxurious and a joyous experience. We booked the Sands Suite, and it was well above our expectations. Clean, well-maintained, futuristic with smart home appliances, and my favorite part was the plunge pool. I really admire the people here. They are super positive in their attitude, friendly, and supportive in every way possible. I would highly recommend Crystal Sands for anyone, anytime of the day.
