Cube House Aparthotel

We stayed here with the children and it was a good experience. Large rooms were exactly made for children as they always need a room for play. Clean bathroom, and a good and quick room service. The staff was also very positive. For breakfast we decided to go to the local cafes and restaurants, so we found this Meeples Restobar just behind the corner down the street. We had our time there, as they offer board games which kids love very much. Breakfasts there were good with good quality-money value. Thanks for happy memories Krakow! We will come again!

The best and only good thing about this place is the location and that it is in a quiet area. Upon arrival there is no reception/check in desk, you have to message the number on the door. In our case we messaged beforehand (due to seeing other reviews) and got the code for the door and apartment before our arrival. It is also very dark as there is no outdoor lighting, we had to use our phone light to unlock the door of an evening. The rooms are basic equipped with a fridge, TV and kettle. The bathroom looked newly refurbed but we did have an issue with the shower enclosure leaking meaning the floor got soaked. The shower enclosure is very small, you can barely turn around in it. You are given 2 bath towels and one hand towel, but if you want anymore you have to pay. Also there is a charge for the room to be cleaned. There is also a warning in the room that if you make noise between 22:00 & 6:00 you will be fined. The beds are small and narrow and not very comfortable, also the heating came on overnight which made the room very hot. As a base for a night or 2 it would be ok, but for a 5 night stay it wasn't ideal and nothing like it was advertised when we booked. Don't be fooled by the good reviews either, has there is a notice in the room that says if you leave a good review and send it to them on WhatsApp you get a later check out time.

Not the best place to stay. This place is described as an aparthotel but it literally only has a kettle. There's no reception. Upon finding the entrance, you have to send a message to the number on the door. Thankfully 2 kind ladies told us this as we were wondering how to check in as no details were given! Then you have to walk around a very dark outdoor area to find the apartment. The room itself was below average. Twin beds that were pushed together, but moved apart if you were anywhere near the middle of it. We had no heating on the first night of our stay and we were freezing. The staff only fixed this in the morning after ignoring a message from myself about how cold we were. Felt very run down. Wouldn't stay here again. The best thing was the location. But you can get nicer hotels in the center of Old Town for a similar price.
