Comfortable Stay at CVK Taksim – Great Sofa Bed! I had a wonderful stay at CVK Taksim Hotel. The location is perfect – right by Taksim Square, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. One thing that really impressed me was the sofa bed. I stayed in a room with an extra bed option, and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable – not the usual hard or uneven type. It was perfect for a good night’s sleep, and ideal for families or groups. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I’ve stayed at CVK Hotel Taksim in Istanbul several times over the years, mainly for its great location—right in the heart of Taksim Square, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. In the past, I’ve had consistently good experiences here, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, this time didn’t live up to the standard I was used to. While some of the staff were friendly and helpful, I did have an issue with being overcharged for something quite small, and it was more the principle than the amount that left a bad taste. When you’re a returning guest, you hope to be treated with a bit more care and attention. The hotel itself still has potential—it’s clean and modern, and the rooms are comfortable—but it’s lost a bit of the charm and hospitality that once made it a standout for me. Hoping management can take on feedback and bring back the level of service that made this place a reliable go-to in Istanbul.
