We stayed just one night as we were passing through the area. The hotel is very pleasant and a good standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious enough for the price and the hotel dog friendly. My wife used the spa for a message. The facilities are extensive. The li action is good, easy to walk our dog in the park next door. Paid parking is underground. It’s a short walk to stroll along the river or into town.
My husband and I travelled here from Australia and stayed on a Sunday night. We were planning on using the spa facilities and thermal baths Sunday before our onward road journey. We arrived at 2.15 after a long drive and went to check in, however were rudely turned away as check in wasn’t until 3pm. We weren’t offered a drink or any suggestions as to what to do for this time. After wandering around the town - which was mostly closed, we returned and checked in. Upon check in we were explained that we could access the thermal baths through the hotel, we then enquired about gaining access to the thermal baths and spa for the afternoon, which we were advised were also closed for the remainder of the day and opened again at 9am on Monday and it was 30 euro for 24 hours. Unfortunately nowhere on the website does it indicate that the thermal spa is closed Sunday and it was an additional charge to an already expensive hotel room, so our long journey for this experience was done in vain. The rooms were nice and spacious, the courtyard is lovely, and it’s in a central location however if you’re coming here for the thermal baths- don’t come on a Sunday.
Very dull and disappointing experience. The spa resembles a hospital - plain white tiles. Very overpriced for the "spa" offer of two tiny saunas, a small pool with thermal water (for 8-10 people) and a steam room. It's just boring as there is nothing to do beyond 40 minutes. The changing rooms are like a municipal swimming pool. The whole experience was just dull, dull, dull and overpriced -only enough space for 4 people in the relaxation area. I do not recommend at all.
