We’ve now stayed at the D-Resort Göcek twice – once in September last year and again this June – and both times were absolutely wonderful. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. We traveled with our baby the first time and with our toddler the second time, and the reception team went out of their way to provide us with a room that was perfectly suited to our needs. The breakfast is beautifully prepared with great attention to detail – nothing is missing. The beach is stunning and perfectly designed for children. If you’re not a fan of package holidays but are traveling with a small child, this hotel is the perfect choice. Once again, this definitely wasn’t our last stay at the D-Resort Göcek.

During our stay between 27-29 June, we were pleased with everything. We especially enjoyed the private boat trip that we took. The boat was impeccably designed, and the service on the boat was superb. The staff on the boat were very attentive. We are definitely thinking of coming back to this wonderful haven of tranquility!

The hotel and facilities are fine, the beach and beach restaurants are lovely. The main problem this hotel suffers from is customer service and communication when there is a problem. We booked a double room for us and a twin for our children through booking.com. There was confusion between their system and booking.com about the twin. They failed to contact us to confirm the position and changed the twin to a double. When we pointed out the error on arrival a number of staff members insisted repeatedly that their system was correct, our statements were incorrect, the error was ours and there was no need for them to have contacted us. This involved them accusing us of lying. The manager apologised when we checked out but this is clearly clearly falls way below the level of service expected from a hotel like this.
