Overall this hotel is nice, you have to take into account that it is a boutique style hotel tho. The rooms are quite big and the beds really comfortable, the only problem was the light, in the bathroom, there was almost no lightning at all, which for people like me who has to have their make up done it was a bit difficult cause I could not manage to really see what I was doing, but besides that the room was good. Regarding the breakfast, it was nice. I would have like if it had had a wider food offer, but it was a nice buffet service. Besides, they refill once something is empty, so in general for a short stay this hotel is just fine.
Stayed here for 3 nights recently and mostly enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the building was beautiful. A short walk from a main transit area so it was easy to hop on a bus, tram or metro. The service was great. Reception was very helpful and gave us a ton of info about the city. The duvet had a very strong perfume scent to it which bothered me BUT they were very quick to come switch the cover to one that was not scented. Breakfast was simple, but satisfying including eggs, bacon, fruits, cheeses and meats, breads and pastries. There was also cereal and yogurt. Main complaint - the shower leaked horribly and was mouldy. It was obvious that the water was trapped where it shouldn’t be and the floor would flood when showering. I do feel that I have a bit of mould illness now from breathing in the spores. Definitely something that should be addressed ASAP. The light in the shower also did not provide much. If you are driving a small car be wary when leaving the parking garage, it’s a hell of a drop. Take it really slow.
Overall the hotel is nice but the furniture is a bit tired and worn. The breakfast is excellent with a good selection of hot and cold foods. Some things are just strange, we stayed in a suite but only two coffee pods and one bottle of water were provided for our three night stay, when I asked if we could get any more I was just told no, there wasn't even an offer to buy at extra cost. There is also a mini bar with no prices. I had booked a welcome drink and was told this was only tea, not even the offer of coffee any other beverage. Overall a nice hotel but for the price should be better
