Daintree Cascades

Everything others have said is all true. It's a pretty amazing home. But I would also like to recognize the owners for the little things they have done. The plates, glassware, pots and pans, and cutlery are all very good quality. The knives will cut through the skin of a pepper smoothly. We have been staying in other vacation homes where everything is cheap and it makes it hard to prepare a meal. I would also like to point out the pictures of the home are out dated. It's actually even nicer than it looks! There is a wonderful deck with lovely patio furniture. They have a gas grill we used often. The river has walkways built in places to make it easier to get to swimming holes. They painted the wood beams black (looks really sharp). Lastly, this home is clean! It's the cleanest vacation home I've ever stayed in!

I stayed at the house 15 years ago & loved it & it was just as good in 2025. Beautifully maintained home, in balance with its incredibly beautiful environment. The only place I’d stay in Tropical North Queensland. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a magical piece of the world! Recently stayed here and found Ali and James to be welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about everything Daintree. It was refreshing to have a digital detox, start each morning with a cool swim in the ancient waters and fall asleep listening to a waterfall instead of urban sirens and sounds. Thanks so much for hosting us Kerr's, we will be back.
