I have been here a week and almost everything has been perfect. The rooms cool quickly. The toilet is a toilet. The laundry is inexpensive, put clothes in, no detergent needed, push start and it washes and dried for less than $4. The resteraunt is full of good options. The breakfast buffet is great. The staff at the resteraunt, with the exception of a couple female staff, are beyond accommodating. Front desk staff is exceptional. You can stay at other places that have more dining choices but they don't have other amenities that this place has. My coworker wanted to wash his clothes here. Apparently laundry service here is expensive.
The hotel is located in an area with good access to Kumamoto's downtown and Kumamoto Castle. The facilities are clean and the rooms are comfortable.
Unclear instruction of steps to get room number and card, made confused start of the room experience. Unreasonable long laundry machine setting (2 hours laundry and drying) and allow add on of drying hours. Which is nonsense- which tourist or businessman could afford 2-3 hours of laundry and queuing? The hotel hardware is new and good, but most important element (think in clients mindset is MISSING)
