This hotel was a great choice for my husband and I. It was walking distance from the Kyoto station, the service was AMAZING, and there was easy access to great restaurants, taxis, and shopping. The rooms are very small, but clean. The bathroom was a particular highlight for an uncultured American like me. The bathtub was huge! I feel like I could recommend this hotel to everyone. I would be careful if you have children, though. It gets super crowded right outside during peak hours. Might be easy to lose little ones.
We went to this hotel both times we visited Kyoto. Super close to the JR station, amazing staff, breakfast in the morning is very complete all be it a bit on the pricey side. Rooms are not spacious but will provide comfort and quality. Again, biggest selling point is the location. You cannot go wrong with this hotel
This hotel was an excellent choice for our stay in Kyoto. It was within walking distance of Kyoto Station, had AMAZING service, and was conveniently close to restaurants and city bus stops. The rooms were quite small, but very clean. I would stay here again.
