This is in the business/hotel section of Shinjuku and is a short walk to bustling part which is nice. There are restaurants and coffee shops close by and a 24 hour 7-11 on the bottom floor. The standard double room is not big so if you want roomy probably move up a notch but for one person it’s fine. Housekeeping and staff are amazing!
Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Nishi-Shinjuku was an excellent hotel. Staff was polite, helpful and spoke English. Free toiletries are provided in the lobby area. They have 6 washer/dryer in site. Machines costs at the time were ¥500 for a small load and ¥600 for a large load. Rooms are a little cramped but we had 2 double beds and you can push them together. Room service provided fresh bathroom towels, sandals and Jinbei (linen pijays) daily. Hotel is in a great location. 5 min walk to a subway, 20 min walk to JR station. 7-11 attached at the B1 level of the building, Family mart and an amazing cafe just around the corner. Shibuya shopping district is a 15~20 min walk. Had an amazing experience at this hotel.
Really nice hotel just enough off the main street to be quiet. Has a 24hr 7/11 on the bottom floor which is super convenient. Is a business district with lots of highrises all around. The train station is a few blocks but from there is only one stop away from the main station in that area.
