Dalmeny Park House Hotel

I was recently a guest at the Dalmeny Park House Hotel and I cannot recommend this venue enough. I have long list of very serious food allergies which have previously restricted me from attending restaurants. The venue was made aware of my allergies some time before the wedding and reassured me that I would not be left out of the special day. When I arrived I met with some of the staff who took note of my allergies and said they would cook me anything to accommodate my allergies. I was presented with a blank menu where I could choose whatever I wanted (within reason) for my three courses. I had a wonderful steak for my main which was cooked separately and delicious. For dessert, I was presented with ice cream that met my dietary requirements and this made me feel very included. Staff were excellent and regularly checked that I was ok and ensured that I was in safe hands. My allergies were noted before the meal just to be safe and this made me feel reassured that my dietary requirements were taken on board and respected. I could not speak highly enough of the staff that work there as they are a credit to the venue. I am very grateful for a wonderful experience on a wonderful day.

May 2025 husband and wife, having our wedding here was a great choice. From the communication through planning to the service on our special day everything was handled excellently. All our guests were in love with the venue, the ceremony room was exactly as we wanted it to be and the staff were incredibly professional. Aimee, our wedding coordinator, was beyond amazing, ran the day perfectly and made it the most magical experience for us whilst also making our guests feel comfortable. The food choices we made were incredible and prepared exactly as requested but when planning the amount of options they have for your wedding menu is enough to facilitate anyone with any dietary requirements. If you are thinking about booking Dalmeny for your wedding we cannot recommend them enough, truly the best day we could have ever wished for even with it raining.

Well then!!! If I could give this more stars when I would! Long story short it good for room and food! 5/5 Now for the long story - having staying there for work . I can confirm that that food at the restaurant was very good despite the review you may have read !!! I have to say that the chicken hand haggis was very good but the pepper corn sauce was ever better! Highly recommend if you don’t like haggis like I do ! I can’t say much about the room as I got an upgrade but the service were very good. I’m not here to review room , it is food . I highly recommend visiting even if you stay by for the high for you r journey to the highly .
