We had a fantastic time at this resort. The location is beautiful, with a quiet, clean private beach and stunning sea views. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the room service was quick and reliable. A special thank you to Mr. Shabon for his excellent room service and kind attitude, and to Mr. Saleh from the reception team—he was incredibly generous, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made a great experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy top-notch service!
Not worth the money you pay to stay here. Not western friendly at all. If the star rating allowed for a minus rating, that’s where I would be. - From the security gate to the apartment, you get the feeling you are driving through a poorly managed construction site. NOT at all a fancy resort. It’s only marketing stunt that is being sold. - Staff is rude and unprofessional. - Apartment is poorly equipped, pots and pans supplied without any utensils. Only 1 teaspoon given with no dishcloths to dry anything after washing. Not a fully equipped Villa at all, so you are forced to use restaurant. - Bathroom Towels were old and like sandpaper. - Hygiene not up to standard, found long black hair on the kitchen floor when we checked in. - Apartments not serviced daily. - Shower was broken on arrival. - Unbelievable, Toilet was restricted with the amount of water into the cistern and is unable to flush properly. - Beach was ok,but the ocean was disgusting dirty with a slimy feel when you entered the water. - Water was riddled with litter an dead jellyfish and turned black when you walked. In my opinion and from a health point of view it’s not safe for swimming. - No swimming facilities available to enjoy as a married couple. The only pool that can be used as a couple, come with an SAR 345 for 2hrs price tag. - Breakfast was expensive (SAR 276 for 2) and on the very bottom end of average. - NO REFUNDS are done if you do decide to leave early. Best not to got to this point. My experience DBR resort and recommendation - Stay Away its not worth the money, only disappointment and frustration.
Check in as at 4 PM! Check out is at 12 PM! We are a family of 4, i asked them yesterday for late checkout, as we have a loopagoon booking at 2 PM. And there is no where for me and my kids to go. I even offered to extend my stay for one more day. Yesterday they said no need, and we can give you a late checkout up to 4 PM. Now they called me and said we need the room! AC was broken and just generating heat all night! Rooms are old. Food is expensive and not worth the price!
