Dana Boutique Hotel & Apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our month and a half stay at Dana Boutique Hotel. The room was booked was very spacious and is cleaned daily. There’s a washer with a place to dry clothes and good air conditioning. The front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful as well. There’s a small gym on the top floor that was always empty so I would regularly get a good workout in. The location was good as well; close to the beach and not too far from good restaurants (my husband and I walk everywhere). There’s also some awesome banh my chay right spring the corner. I felt comfortable the entire time I was there and would recommend anyone to stay here!

Strange checkout experience. The front desk guy translated something that said: "you hurt the towels and the pot so we must punish you". He had photos of a pot in the room that had scratches in the bottom and a dirty towel... We didn't use the pot and if the towel was dirty it was because it was on their dirty floor.. My wife found bugs all over the cutting board when we checked in, and the couch had visible stains all over it. That's fine just don't try to shake down your guests on checkout. Nice location.

Very dirty room — we found cockroaches and small black insects near the sink. After one night, we had itching and red rashes. Reported to the front desk and checked out early, but the hotel refused to refund the unused night. Terrible hygiene and poor service. Not recommended.
