Danaide Resort

The complex is spacious and located on a large enough area. The apartments are distributed in houses, with separate access. The premises are cleaned every day, towels are changed whenever you want. All the staff are smiling, polite and responsive. The beach is close, and there is a frequent shuttle. The food is varied and very tasty. We liked everything very much, I recommend the complex.

Lovely place. All our worries from the negative ratings disappeared from day one. We got one bedroom apartment with separate kitchen, living room, two bathrooms and balcony. It was quiet, clean, perfect. The beach is less than 10 minutes stroll through a pine forest and there are shuttles available too. The best experience was the entertainment provided by the animators. Big thank you to all the staff.

The pool is the standout feature, it is huge and beautiful. We didn’t use it, however, because bathing caps are required, which we did not have, and couldn’t find any to purchase. The beach accommodations were also wonderful, and we enjoyed many hours at our assigned umbrella. There was a shuttle to transport guests through the pine forest (a real help for those with mobility challenges.) The staff were wonderful, and we enjoyed chatting and learning Italian. It should be noted, however, that the accommodations are spartan. If you are traveling from abroad, be advised that they do NOT provide pool or beach towels (we used our bath towels) soap or dish soap/sponge, hairdryer, etc. They did provide kitchen-ware, sheets and towels, but we had to make our own bed. The resort seems very family-friendly, and designed for people who can bring everything with them on their vacations.
