Staying at this sanctuary-like Japanese hotel was an immersive experience that truly made you feel as though you had been transported to Japan. The serene atmosphere was incredibly quiet and peaceful, allowing for complete relaxation and a sense of escape from the outside world. Every detail, from the minimalist yet elegant design to the tranquil gardens and soothing ambient sounds, contributed to the authentic Japanese ambiance. The hospitality was warm and thoughtful, further enhancing the feeling of being in a traditional ryokan. It was the perfect retreat to unwind, recharge, and embrace the calming essence of Japanese culture.
My family and I enjoyed making face masks and feeding animals here. My parents were so happy while they wore the Japanese costume and took funny photos. The manager of this hotel, Mr. Huang who hospitalized us. We love this lovely place and would like to stay whenever we come visit Yilan. By the way, thanks to the lady who helped us to put on the Japanese costumes. That’s amazing job 🥰❤️.
We had a lovely experience! We basically came straight from the airport so was exhausted when we arrived. When I asked about dinner the receptionist immediately called the restaurant to let them know we were on the way and even arranged for Santa to take us there so we wouldn’t get lost (it was almost last order). The chicken hotpot was delicious and we finished every last drop of soup. As hotel guests we had some activities as part of our stay and others we needed to pay for if we wanted to do something extra, like the tea ceremony or cosplay. We paid extra to feed the capybaras but only because we love them so much!!! When we went to use the hot spring it was basically empty for us 💖. Uber eats also delivers here although it kept getting delayed and we got the food almost 2 hours later. Breakfast was simple but ample enough. The staff around the entire park were super friendly and nice especially the capybara uncle who had fantastic English. If you bow to the deer, they bow back (our friends thought we went to Nara). We also booked a kavalan tour and that took 30 minutes from dancewoods (with extra 15 minutes taxi call time) so make sure you pen in extra wait time. When we checked out we booked a free shuttle to the bus station to get back to Taipei. thank you for the lovely stay! We loved the happy hour food and table tennis time 💖
