The room was nice and clean, and the hotel is conveniently located. There was a good variety of tasty food for breakfast. Also more than enough for a vegetarian to choose from. The only problem was noise in the room at night, although it was facing the back yard, not the street.
I ended up staying at this hotel because the Arena Hotel – which is part of the same group and where I usually stay – was fully booked this time. My dental clinic helped arrange this one for me, and to be fair, it’s clearly been newly renovated – the room was comfortable and quite spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. That said, the Wi-Fi was just as unstable as in the other hotel, which made my online meetings really frustrating. At one point, my boss even had a go at me for cutting out, which definitely put a damper on my mood. Soundproofing wasn’t great either – I could still hear doors slamming from nearby rooms, and to top it off, I was jolted awake just before 6am by the fire alarm. Needless to say, I couldn’t get back to sleep after that… not exactly the best first impression. On the plus side, the room was very clean, and the location is just as convenient as the Arena Hotel – literally a two-minute walk to the tube. It’s on one of the best lines in my opinion, so that’s definitely a strong point. Overall, I’d still recommend the hotel, especially for the location and cleanliness, but it would be so much better if you could upgrade the Wi-Fi and install thicker doors for proper sound insulation.
Good sized room with very comfortable beds. However, lots of things could be better. There isn't an extractor fan for the steam. This was bad because the toilet wasn't usable without having to soak your dress for a long time after a single shower. The shower drain also seemed to be blocked. Where the water level in the bath would slowly increase. The only filter I had used for the bare minimum was air conditioning. The air conditioning unit didn't cool the temperature. It seemed to just be a built-in-the-wall ventilator. Making sleeping sometimes very uncomfortable due to the heat.
