Dar 73

As a designer, spending a week in an well designed environment, does wonders to the soul. Dar 73 provided that memorable experience which will linger on. After a day in the busy souks, visiting museums or stocking up on local artisanal designs, returning to Dar 73 was a veritable haven of serenity and grace. The bedrooms were luxurious and so were all the public spaces. Perfectly designed to delight the spirit and relax the senses. Above all, the staff treated us like family. Warm Moroccan friendliness, attentive service, superb breakfast catered to our health needs, excellent cooking and mesmerising spa treatment. A bubbling fountain serenaded us one morning as we rested in the salon, and oriental music travelled the mind to distant sand dunes and into the sunset. The pool was refreshing, the sunsets were priceless and the summer breeze on the terrace a serenade to drift away. We take away the warm welcome, the smiles, the kindness, the happiness of the gracious hosts, who made our stay as special as the whole of Marrakech; Marrakech is in the hearts of its citizens, and we were blessed to have such wonderful hosts. A highly recommended haven of beauty, relaxation and Moroccan hospitality at its best.

Me and my husband stayed here in January for 5 days and had the most wonderful experience. The Riad is not reachable by taxi as others have said but it is one street away, only a two minute walk. The staff were exceptionally helpful and spoke both French and English, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even walked us into town when we weren’t sure where to go 🤣. The breakfast was always top tier and it was a nice atmosphere eating with everyone in one room, there was usually yogurt, honey, fruit and pancakes and then coffee and juice. The rooms were very comfy and also smelt very good. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, the square is a few minutes walk away and has lots of food places around. 10/10 ❤️

I’ve stayed in many riads during my vacation in morocco and I have to say by far, Dar 73 is the best one I’ve been to. The rooms were well appointed, beautiful terrace, homely common areas and they even have an in house hammam and massage service. Breakfast was great and was slightly varied over the 2 meals I’ve had with Dar 73. Staff were extremely friendly and professional as well. Please consider Riad Dar 73 for your holiday, you will not be disappointed
