Dar Assiya

Outstanding stay at Dar Assiya - we will definitely be staying there during our next trip to Marrakech. The hotel and the rooms were beautiful, and the staff could not have been more welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel is also perfectly located a short walk away from the center of the old city. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

One of the most beautiful Riads we stayed in. Staff were amazing. Only had lunch there once but it was incredible. We were a gay couple which didn’t phase them in the slightest. Now this isn’t the Riads fault, this was our stupidity but please contract the Riad before arrival and they will arrange a taxi and porter service for you. Otherwise the local taxi drivers are in cahoots with some of the cowboy porters of the medina and you’ll get dropped off miles away and we got dinged for $60 by a shady porter. Contact the Riad!!! Their transfer service (which we used to get to the airport) was very professional and only $25.

I rarely take the time to write reviews. I will be honest - location of this riad was tad surprising to us and unexpected BUT every one from the taxi ride to drop off, to placing our suitcase in a wheelbarrow directly to our riad, all so nice. The staff at this riad was beyond any 5 star hotel service. We stayed at 4 different riads throughout our trip in morocco, and none has beat this boutique, home felt, top notch service. The staffs were SO helpful from where to get souvenirs, restaurants recs to even making the BEST tasting mint tea (I am an avid tea drinker & there’s a huge difference in brewing techniques).
