We had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at this hotel. My friends and I were excited to try the rooftop, so we made a reservation via telephone. The person we spoke with confirmed everything asked how many we were, agreed on the date and time, and told us we were all set.Yet , when we arrived on the scheduled day, we were shocked to be denied entry. The staff at the door told us there was no reservation under our name, even though we explained we had booked two days earlier. We insisted and explained everything, but the staff simply said it was full and that phone reservations are not considered valid. And to make matters worse, they told us that we could only enter if we agreed to consume alcohol. We found this extremely unprofessional and discriminatory, as we had no intention to drink alcohol we just wanted to enjoy the rooftop and have non-alcoholic drinks.They told us that after 4pm, no drinks are served except alcohol, which makes absolutely no sense. This was a very horrible and disrespectful experience. We were treated poorly, and we felt completely unwelcome. We do not recommend this place and will certainly not return.

My review is specifically about the rooftop restaurant/pub. I arrived in the afternoon for a beer and chose a table near the edge of the rooftop. Unfortunately, the table hadn’t been cleaned, and the waitress took a while to come over and wipe it down. To make matters worse, I discovered a used baby diaper under the table which I had to point out for them to remove. After that, I waited a very long time for someone to take my order, but no staff showed up. Eventually, I gave up and decided to leave. As I was walking out, I noticed there were barely any staff around..just three employees sitting in a corner on their phones, and only one waitress behind the bar managing everything alone. It was a very disappointing experience. I used to like this place, but with such poor management and lack of attention to cleanliness especially the dirty tables around the pool..it’s clearly going downhill.

The rating is mainly for the rooftop restaurant. However, you don’t get to choose where you sit — if you’re a party of two, you’re not allowed to take a table with a view that’s meant for four, even if another couple is allowed to 🙃. The food is bad and overpriced. You can easily find much better places with nicer views at a lower price.
