Darien Dockside Inn

This is a charming little place. I had originally made a reservation for a prior trip but the owner was really accommodating and was able to just push the reservation to the later date I asked for. The room and bathroom are huge. Check in is really easy (you're just sent a code) and the view of the river is delightful. The towels were really luxurious to the point where my boyfriend asked me where we could get ones of our own. There's a great common space too. The room had a nice seating area on the balcony with a great view. I didn't know the balcony went through to all the rooms so I got quite startled when I saw a guy out of the corner of my eye but once I understood the layout it obviously wasn't a problem.

Clean and quaint. Perfect for a little gettaway. Was having a wedding reception next door and was perfect place to stay with a lobby to quietly wait to move to the venue. Very nice place and well taken care of for what it is. If your looking for high end go to the Oaks. This is a very nice place with a great view of the river and so very close to shopping, resteraunts and all that Darien has to offer in the old town within walking distance. You can't go wrong here. If you have issues with noise or even anything contact the owners as they leave their number and they will take care of things. Great people. No regrets and will definately have friends and family stay here when they visit. Price was spot on too.

Traveling to Florida on a Monday, we called about an hour to reserve about an hour before we got there. The woman who reserved the room for us was friendly. The Inn is very nice place to stay that’s not an I-95 hotel. Liked the self check-in process. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Nice view from the back porch. We’ll stay again!
