Das Seela Braunschweig

Very good four-star hotel. Excellent value for money offer in Brunswick. The hotel is located near the exit from the north-eastern part of the city. Friendly staff, fast check-in and check-out. The room is quite spacious, equipped with everything you need, including a Nespresso capsule coffee machine. Free parking was a nice touch.

The rooms were clean and although it was hot they did not get too hot in the room even though there is no air. The service was impeccable. Every member of the staff was great. Parking is at a premium and if you have a large wagon or SUV like we did and you get to the hotel later at night when the lot is full they have a small underground parking garage but it's a tight fit getting down there and getting into a space. We asked for a view of the park/pond behind the hotel but with the trees in the way you could not see much from our room though at least it was better than looking over the parking lot like our kids room got.

In short: I was disappointed. We had a tiny room where we had to put the suitcase on our bed to open it. The elevator did not work - and the service ... could have been better. If it had not been for the restaurant, which was OK (nothing I would make a detour for), it would have been zero stars. I will not book this hotel again.
