The hotel was renovated in 2020 and it still keeps the old Bavarian style, but with a modern style. The rooms are cozy and clean. The interior court yard and surroundings are nicely decorated and blend well with the surroundings. The breakfast has a surprising variety and it is tasty too. They have a washroom where you can do the laundry if needed (free of charge), they can also do it for you for an extra charge. The people at the reception are very helpful and kind. Lunch and dinner can be served at the 4 restaurants near the hotel wirth von amerang - bavarian, il borgo- italian Paladi palace - indian and a greek one, all have tasty dishes at reasonable prices. The hotel also has 3 parking lots free of charge.

We arrived late and the service and helpfulness was outstanding! Truly felt so welcome I have not experienced for some time. Beautiful place! We had a room on the top floor and was a little on the warm side and with open windows there was road noise. Room ls were modern and very clean and same with bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. Great selection and food was truly high quality. Amazing buns and coffee too. We visited family not too far away and we will certainly book here next time.

The hotel seems to have a couple of buildings which are separated from each other and a big enough parking lot. The receptionist speaks quite fluent english and they accept corporate credit cards. The room for a single person was rather small, but on the good side it could heat up quicker. I liked the fact that every piece of furniture looked quite new, the bathroom was looking fresh and clean, the amenities were great (quality shampoo&soap, towels etc). The heating worked great, as well as the hot water. I tried not to abuse it, as I know the current energy situation in DE especially is bad. There is a plug outlet right on the bed side, which is very clever and useful for charging a phone or a laptop. The breakfast was set in a nice room with plenty of space and I would say it was more diverse than in larger or more known hotels in Germany. The best part is that its location is very central in Amerang and right over the street there is a very nice and old-looking restaurant, giving me some medieval vibes, Wirth von Amerang, which is open on Sundays and in the evenings.
