Dayi Yiho Hotel

Nice hotel that Xiamen airlines provide for free if you have a long layover. There is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel but it was taking too long so one of the guys brought us in a car which was nice. Check-in was easy, reception staff was lovely and the room was huge and clean. I haven't been able to make the wifi work but my roaming works so it's not a big issue. If you are staying here for a few hours, make sure you visit the food street nearby. Walk out of the hotel, turn left on main street and walk about 100m when you get to the traffic lights and turn left. The street goes a long way and has so much local street food, pharmacies, grocery stores etc.

Dayi Yihao hotel is a good hotel if you're having a layover in xiamen as it's very near the airport. It's used quite often by Xiamen airlines as a hotel for their passengers who get offloaded or have long layovers. The rooms are ok with comfortable beds and a hot shower.

Room is big, bathroom a bit rundown with mold at the edges of silicon seal, bathroom floor slippery. AC not adjustable. Attendent in restaurant and receptionist are rude. Bfast at 6.30am but late for preparation but no apology for the late. This is not what I expected for transit hotel where people may need to move fast for next flight. Location close to airport can have load noise when plane pass by. Ear plug provided.
