I really didn't like the experience here, leaving your credit card details for anyone to read is not a good idea. They even request your 3 digit security code. Once this policy is changed, I might come back.

I’m giving a neutral rating not because I didn’t enjoy my stay. The room was very nice, and the breakfast buffet at the top is superb. However, there are a few things to improve specially in a hotel of this category. I requested to have a late checkout until 12PM and reception gave me their OK. In the morning, the housekeeping lady (of the 8th floor) knocked on my door at 11AM, I was in the shower so she entered the room without my permission and I had to tell her to come back later. She knocked again at 11:30 and insisted in a very rude and prepotent manner that I had to leave the room, to which I replied that I had a late checkout arranged, “until what time?” She asked, I told her and then she left. I think that she should’ve been notified that my room had a late checkout, clearly she wasn’t aware of that, but I also think that it doesn’t justify the bad manners and rudeness that she had towards a guest. It’s worth mentioning though, that this was an isolated case as all the other people working at the hotel were extremely nice to me. Apart from that, aside from a gym, there isn’t really a common area or space for guests to relax or cowork, and the restaurant at the top is not ready yet, it only works for breakfast time. So if you are in La Plata for just a couple of nights, it may be the choice for you if you’re looking for a comfortable room to stay and a good breakfast with a very nice view to the cathedral. If you plan to stay longer or you would like to have more amenities available during your stay, I’d suggest another place as in here you’ll pretty much have to stay in your room while you’re at the hotel, or go somewhere else in the city. I know they’re working on improving the space and amenities so I hope they can improve the experience to the level a company like Wyndham can offer. Would love to re-visit and give a 5-star rating!
