Dazzler by Wyndham Lima Miraflores

Very comfortable, nice bathroom. There's a bookshop, a Pizza Hut and other restaurants around, which is helpful. Would definitely recommend it. There aren't many options of food in the minimart, so if you're arriving late and hungry, I suggest to get snacks elsewhere (or ask for room service).

This was a nice value hotel located in Miraflores. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable but dated. TVs do not allow for HDMI input if you brought your computer or Chromecast as they are locked. Coffee is not included in the room for some reason which I found odd and comical as I was reminded a few times that there is a charge. This is the only hotel in the world I've stayed at that charges for in-room coffee. However, there was complimentary bottled water to drink. I liked that they cleaned the rooms every day.

The hotel is very basic and not what I would expect from a four-star hotel. For example, there are no pool towels. Instead, you must bring a towel from your hotel room. Also, the bartender cheated me. I asked him about the welcome drink and he told me to scan the menu for drinks. I made a request and he brought the drink. When I was halfway done, he asked if I wanted another one. I told him no because I was leaving for a food tour soon. Shortly thereafter, he brought me a second drink that I did not ask for. I assumed they'd made an extra one and this would be on the house. When I handed him my drink ticket, he told me that the drink was not part of the welcome drink so I was stuck paying for two drinks at full price. The hotel room didn't have a blanket so I had to request one. You have to pay extra for a coffee machine. And the paint was chipping in several places in the room. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. Also, the hotel drivers were good although one of them charged me extra for using a card and the other one did not.
