De Dames Van De Jonge Hotel

We came for dinner and it was really (really!) delicious. We loved the care taken with the food, sourcing it mostly from their garden, but it was by no means a home meal, it was beautifully prepared and served and all three courses were incredibly tasty. Friendly service, a nice dining area, and they were good with allergies. Because it's freshly prepared you have to book at least 24 hours in advance, and have to dine at 6pm. Well worth it though. We biked there from our campsite in nearby Giethoorn.

By far the best hotel in the Netherlands! Our room was beautiful and very cozy! Bed and pillows were super comfy. A/C worked great. Plenty of hot water to enjoy the big soaking bathtub. Breakfast was great. But the staff… that’s where I wish I could give 10 stars! Gabrielle, the owner went above and beyond to have our room ready for an early check-in so we could crash after flying in from the US. The staff gave us so many recommendations for the area. We overslept the next morning.. they woke us up and asked if we still wanted breakfast. They had it ready and waiting for us along with made to order eggs and fresh squeezed OJ (you have to request that). Elise was the best! Her service and attentiveness was above and beyond!! I highly recommend staying here!!! My husband and I loved it!
