An old paper mill converted into a hotel...in an incredible and secluded location. My route took me by motorbike via the A-1702, better known as THE SILENT ROUTE. It is a little over 60km long country road in very good condition, which leads through a beautiful landscape of valleys and hills, a must for motorcyclists (absolutely recommended if you are in the area). The Hostal de la Trucha is a wonderful option to stay relaxed and quiet in the middle of this nature, restaurant, bar and pool are available. the service fully meets expectations. Absolutely courteous staff, a good menu in the restaurant and the silence there are reasons to stop driving there for the night.
This is a recently renovated hotel in a fabulous location. Storing our bicycles safely was certainly no problem here. Whilst the rooms are not large, they are big enough and they are nicely decorated. The WiFi worked well during our stay. We found the staff at reception and in the hotel restaurant to be friendly and helpful. We would happily return to this hotel in the future.
Wow wow wow what a fabulous place to stay with fabulous quiet surroundings . Stayed here with friends on a motorbike tour of Spain on the 4th/5th June 2023 An old mill transformed into a hotel . First class . Definitely recommend anyone staying here .
