De Lokroep

love this place immersed in the Belgium countryside, nice little village full of factories with animals, very peaceful and relaxing the house is very beautiful, with modern furniture and lots of space big garden to relax and have a beer outdoors. one hour drive to most popular locations to visit, owner very nice and friendly.

We spent a week's holiday with our grandson at the De Lokroep holiday home. It was a beautiful house with every comfort. It had a lovely garden with a large terrace complete with patio furniture. From there, we took many excursions, including the syrup factory in Borgloon, the Vroenhove Bridge, Alden Biezen Castle, the Gallo-Roman Museum in Tongeren, and the Graaf van Borgloon region. Our grandson had a wonderful week, and so did we, of course. We also found plenty of places to eat in the area. The food was delicious. After our excursions, we relaxed and rested in the beautiful holiday home. Ann is a very friendly lady who provided extensive explanations and a warm welcome. Thanks, Ann, for the delicious cherries. The hostess gave us a warm welcome; we immediately felt at home in this beautifully furnished house (with a lovely large garden!). The surrounding area was perfect for cycling and hiking, with so much to see and do! We'll definitely spread the word!
