-2018 stay- Very conveniently located for quick access to Chiayi Station (best for Alishan Mountain Railway and/or Alishan Bus). Nice food options at your doorstep. Very spacious room, comfy bed, fantastic shower and the best WiFi we had in Taiwan. The staff was lovely and helpful (specially the young lady in the mornings), they let us drop the luggage early in the morning before checking in to our convenience. On the negative side I would mention that there was a slight cigarette smell coming through the bathroom extractor.

Nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean modern rooms are very light and cozy. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Private underground parking lot. But there are many Chinese tourist groups staying there. VERY LOUD! Breakfast is very poor (Chinese dishes only). Besides everything is cold!!! Do not recommend for families with kids.

Maybe aimed at business people that just want a bed to sleep in at night -- poorly maintained hotel in a dimly-lit building with other tenants, like a cram school. The bathroom is grimy and amenities are practically non-existent. Counter-staff look overworked but generally helpful. The breakfast is woeful, probably what death-row prisoners receive. Skip if possible.
