De Vere Tortworth Court

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Tortworth Court and it’s an absolutely stunning venue. The building itself is full of character, with beautiful architecture and plenty of elegant spaces inside. The grounds are just as impressive — lush gardens, mature trees, and plenty of picturesque spots for photos. The service from the team was excellent, keeping everything running smoothly without feeling rushed. Despite being a busy hotel, the wedding areas felt private and relaxed, allowing the couple and their guests to really enjoy the day. If you’re looking for a venue with a perfect mix of history, beauty, and great service, Tortworth Court is well worth a visit.

It was a lovely suprise from the better half! I have to say as a stonemason and someone who works in listed buildings of all shapes and sizes it is a magnificent building inside and out! Serene and beautiful!! I could ramble on but that's for work brain 🤣 The rooms were lovely but a bit hot great for the better half but myself was a struggle (but they did supply a Dyson fan) so that helped! Had dinner in their restaurant it was again lovely not over priced and portions were brilliant... Quality even better. Lovely setting as well with stone arches and beautiful wood book shelves and ceilings within the dining space. Prawn cocktail was fantastic the plant based opera cake was also phenomenal in truth the food was just spot on for us both We didn't get a chance to use the pool but the grounds were lovely for a walk The bar was also decent and had a damn good selection of gins! There was a wedding on at the time so we wish them well! Will definitely visit again in a heartbeat! Would be somewhere we wouldn't mind working on too 😉

Back from a couple nights stay. Service from all staff was great as expected! 5* Location was wonderful & the general grounds alongside the historic property itself carry great charm. Food & drink was generally very good. Let downs: Pool & Spa Facilities need a complete revamp. Doesn’t quite fit with the rest of the character and grandeur of the property. Mansion House: Bedrooms were nice size but ultimately beds were uncomfortable & despite staff being so accommodating to provide us with an extra fan. It made no difference as rooms were too stuffy and hot. Ultimately due to these factors my stay was not a restful retreat as intended and therefore cannot give a 5* review.
