DeCamondo Galata a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and our stay. ALP at the reception, I believe he might be the manager, was extremely kind and helpful when we were checking out. He went the extra mile to help translate in Turkish to the driver for us. The rooms were clean and well stocked with water and coffee. The only negative thing about the hotel is that it has LOTS of stairs/steep hills to reach it, so it might not be the best location or hotel if you have any injuries or ailments.

I had a great stay at this hotel, but what really stood out was the breakfast team. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. The buffet was fresh, well-stocked, and had a great variety — but it was the warm service that made each morning special. Thank you to the team for starting every day with such positive energy. You truly made a difference!

I love the location of this hotel. It is very convenient to go around Istanbul, particularly if it is your 1st visit. ROOMS: they are quite small, as it is an historical building. They need some improvement as there is not a ramp at the front desk, so you have to carry your baggage. Also, it is hard to dark your room at night, as they leave led lights on. The curtains only partially cover the windows. Also, you can hear the conversations from other rooms at night time and people talking in the corridors. Remarkable: their amenities products are nice, good showers. Their are a few good places for breakfast near by (the room)a supermarket and a pharmacy next door
