DeGrassi Boutique Hotel is a true gem in the heart of Izola. The interior is stylish and elegant, with a perfect mix of modern design and historic charm. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with lots of thoughtful details. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the start, and the breakfast was excellent—fresh, local ingredients and a lovely setting. The location is ideal: quiet, central, and just a short walk from the marina and local restaurants. It’s also a fantastic starting point for a scenic bike ride or hike to Piran—one of the highlights of our trip! The coastal trail offers amazing views and a chance to explore Slovenia’s beautiful coastline at your own pace. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely return!
A perfect little getaway place for couples of any profile. Quiet, private and beautiful accomodation, and personel with great care. Feels and looks like a little castle. Highly recommend the rooms with spa & jacuzzi. Will be back.
The breakfasts they have on the menu are a super big, big, big disappointment. Besides that, that they are served on a socialist style plate, with medieval decorations, they lack taste and volume. For that price you should at least get a decent portion, if they don't know how a meal for this kind of "boitique garni hotel" should be served. DISASTER
