Delamar Traverse City

We were able to get a good rate for a week date and it was at the expected level of luxury. Helpful people everywhere inside the hotel. Great views from the patios and even from the hotel window that was facing the parking lot. Nice selection of toiletries and a very interesting shower ( yup, interesting). Good champagne, cheap coffee in the room. It's a very romantic place if you are looking for that

We love the Delamar Traverse City. You can't ask for a better setting. We have received top-notch customer service here. I had an issue with a billing matter, and Mr. Williams solved it quickly and kindly. The rooms are updated and comfortable. The air conditioning is a little loud though. We enjoy both pools and sitting on the patio. It is a short and pretty walk to downtown TC.

Stayed here over the weekend with my husband. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and inviting. We stayed in a room overlooking the outdoor pool. Not all of the amenities were available since it was too cold outside, but there are two pools (one indoor/one outdoor), which were great. There is a short walk to the main stores in the downtown Traverse City area (5-10 minutes), but if you don't feel like walking, the weather is bad or you want to have some drinks and not drive, the hotel offers a shuttle service to drop you off and pick you up within a certain distance from the hotel. If I could critique anything, there would be two things. It's very picky and based on personal taste. I wasn't a fan of the open shower. I felt very self-conscious while I was showing about making sure the water didn't get on the bathroom floor. However, I love the choice between the rain shower feature and the handheld option. The water pressure was good. The other thing is there is no microwave in the hotel room. I'm sure there is a reason why, but it's always nice to have. There is a mini fridge. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would stay again if we were in the area.
