Positives - fantastic, friendly staff, always greeted with a smile. Great location for exploring Amalfi, Sorento, Vesuvius and Pompeii. It is a few miles from Sorento and the roads can be challenging but Sant Agita is a nice break from the major chaos of the larger towns and Cities. Negatives - Rooms, while comfortable are not well appointed for the price, no drink making facilities in the rooms. Clothes storage was basic, we were there for two weeks, I guess if you’re only there for a couple of nights then this might not bother you. While staying, there was a large even in Sant Agita (I believe this is an annual event), the hotel became extremely busy dealing with 300 people that were attending and as a result lost any focus on their resident guests. The ‘pool bar’ would work much better if it was staffed properly, the young guy wasn’t particularly attentive (which sounds a little arrogant but when on holiday it’s kind of what I expect). In summary, we really enjoyed our stay and if we did ever come back to the area we would probably stay here again (purely based on the great staff!).

Very small rooms, showers not even accessible. Very friendly staff changed our rooms for a bigger one. Still the beds were very hard and too small. Great pool area and easy access to the town.

Visited this hotel in Sept 2023 part of an escorted holiday with Newmarket Holidays. Whilst the holiday itself was really good, Pompei was out if this world and the Amalfi Coast stunning, the only let down was this hotel. Newmarket say its just outside Sorrento when it's actually a fifteen minute + bus ride along hazardous roads (8km) and cost of this bus ride is at individual's expense which although not expensive is still an added factor to take into consideration. Rooms allocated to Newmarket are not any that feature on the Web site for the hotel and are basic, at the front of the hotel and have an extremely small showers. There is no tea/coffee facilities available in the room. Food is very basic, reminded me of school dinners at times and breakfast is not very exciting. Again the Web site shows the swimming pool area all alluminated at night time which is very bizzare as the pool area closes at 6pm! Sant Agate has a few restaurants but apart from an old church not much else to offer. Hotel was very disappointing on what would otherwise be quite an outstanding holiday experience.
