From the beginning this place left us shaking our heads. The website is confusing and we weren’t sure if we had a reservation. Upon arrival we initially wandered around looking for the office or someone to help us. The host showed up shortly thereafter and let us know there were two roo options. One was a studio apartment and the other a 2 story suite. The studio was one level and minimal kitchen accroutements. A tea kettle but no coffee or tea. The suite had the bathroom downstairs and bedroom upstairs. The shower leaked horrendously leaving a pool of water outside the tile floor which was already cold. The heater didn’t work so she provided a space heater. It took until morning to warm up the room. While the photos show well it didn’t deliver.
On Jan. 4, 2023, we landed in Lanzarote. We had arranged to meet at our apartment around 2 o'clock. When we got there the key was in the door. Upon entering we found that there was still stuff from the previous tenant and it was really dirty. After calling the owner, a cleaner still came and fleetingly cleaned it. We reported this and received no response. We also made a report that there was no dish towel. To this the cleaner came and brought an old cloth. There was also leakage due to condensation at the windows because there is no ventilation system. This water runs right onto the electrical outlet, very dangerous. This also created mold in all the bedrooms on the curtains. Report of this was also ignored. Showering is also a problem. The house contains a boiler of 15 liters I understand for 4 people. After 2-3 minutes of showering you have cold water. We then also reported that the parasol was broken. 2 days before departure we received a new one with mold. We saw the owner 3 times and 4 times he apologized. He would improve it all but what use is that to us? He refuses all courtesy. The only thing offered was that we could go to another apartment for one day. That was offered to us while the children were already asleep. The next day other tenants were already in it. So this would not even have been possible. We were offered a 15% discount if we come to Lanzarote again. This is not an acceptable solution for us. Offering an apology is worth nothing when you do nothing to improve it. Kind regards, Christian
Very very bad expérience. Swiming pool very dirty and not heated: impossible to bath (I asked the day before before our arrival and I was answered that everything was ok). No access to Jaccuzzi. Room extremely humide, smelly and dirty. Room air conditioning and heating broken. Our host was one hour late for check-in then almost ureachable.The last day of our stay they decided to repaint the shower ceiling and cleaned with toxic product (we were crying and caughing). We were unable to open the window and no one was around to help. Alessandro, the Host, kept lying to us during our stay : "the gardener has COVID", "it is my boss fault", "we will fix the heating issue tomorrow"...
