Delphi Palace

My favorite hotel ever! This is a home away from home, the views are breathtaking, the beds are very comfortable, and the staff is superb, very helpful, and kind. Great hospitality and very unique location and decor. A warm place, full of character and heart.

It wasn't good, but it wasn't bad either. The location was quite far from the center (uphill walk). The furnishings were old. Air-conditioning is centrally controlled. Simple breakfast buffet. Dinner was also meh. Better to eat outside. The view was superb, however, and is good for scenic shots especially the balcony available in the higher floor rooms.

Expected a 4-star hotel that we paid for. Got a 2-star instead. The doorknob was broken in, and the door had to be pushed with effort to be closed or opened. The floor creaked and a floorboard was missing. The beds were springy with semi-hard pillows. I did not confirm if there were rats in the bathroom, but I highly suspected there were after hearing some scuffling. The flush for the toilet was obviously old and had to be pushed really hard. The wifi was free, yes, but barely reached the rooms and completely disappeared when in the restaurant. The only good point was the spectacular view offered. The breakfast was a buffet, but it could hardly be called one with the limited food. There was a dinner with a menu, so that was nice. I definitely do not recommend this hotel and I'm relieved that I only spent one night here.
