5 Stars – An Unforgettable Stay! I had an incredible experience at the Delta Hotel in Antalya. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The pool area is beautiful, and the beach access is unbeatable – perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sun. Room 1012 was absolutely amazing, with a stunning view and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was how the team made my birthday so special – from small surprises to genuine kindness, it meant a lot. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Antalya. I’ll definitely be coming back!
We had a good experience, staff were nice and professional, check in was smooth, breakfast was varied and delicious. Despite there was a weird huge bug in the room but we called the reception they responded and changed our room. The sea was amazing and the pool and spa was great as well. Offering a wonderful view and location is accessible with lots of places and activities to do nearby, there are markets, restaurants, cafes, and parks. All that for a great price.
Edit August 7 Adding a star for rooms and another one for the overall score since we showed the bathroom to 11th floor housekeeping and and they've fixed all the issues, thank you to whoever it was (forgot her name, but praise her because she's always greeting us with a smile, unlike the others downstairs). Please note though ; the room should have been like this from day one! The Delta by Marriott... yes, 'by MARRIOTT', a brand that encapsulates luxury, perfect service and guests at its center... what a disappointment that one is. The good Clearly, its location, swimming pool and sea access via an elevator. Breathtaking. The breakfast buffet is a feast for the eyes and the mouth. Varied, diverse and a little different every day. The bad Our room (see pictures). There's black mould on the silicon joints in our bathroom (and that's AFTER housekeeping cleaned our room), a water leakage of the faucet, a cracked tile and leftover dust on the room floor (again, after housekeeping cleaned our room). The staff has (for the most part) no empathy or sense of true service. Most times it seems we're bothering them. Some are excellent but extremely rare. There's a subtle, lingering sewer smell in the lobby and breakfast area, which the hotel is trying to mask with fragrance sprays. After a few days it started to bother my appetite. The really bad I got stuck on the elevator today, for more than 25 minutes. Sounding the alarm didn't do anything. Tried to call the reception but got "out of service" automated replies. I had to call my daughter, who was at the beach, to run up and tell reception of my predicament. I eventually got out thanks to a technician, but was expecting at least a few staff members waiting for me to check whether I was alright ; none of that, only other guests fuming because they had to wait to get in. Then no later than tonight, we experienced 4 power outages in our room. I called reception, who said it was a building-wide technical problem, without even apologizing. Room for improvement Closing that magnificent beach platform at 7pm is ridiculous. Most guests wish to stay without a closing time pressure and enjoy a sunset. The poor staff doesn't know who orders what on your application. I forgot how many times I saw them wandering around with a tray, not knowing who ordered the drinks. A simple flag solution on the little side tables would sort it out (you order, put the flag up!). The TV in the room is really big and nice; too bad it's completely bricked in demo mode. You can't adjust settings and can't connect a headset. Also, there's only YouTube and not Netflix. In 2025 so it's a weird decision. I sound bitter, but this is because this is a "by Marriott" branded hotel and not some third zone 2 or 3 stars hotel we're talking about. The state of our bathroom is unacceptable by ANY standards and not just in a Marriott hotel. This gives me the unpleasant feeling the management is surfing on the Marriott brand but taking severe shortcuts when it comes to staff training and building maintenance. I'm still staying in room 1116 and 1117 until Friday morning if you wish to say something to me. Thank you and good luck.
