Stayed here with family for my daughter’s graduation. Lovely room with great view of the city (see photo) and good location - could walk to the ceremony. Got stuck on the car park because of the Pride March when my daughter needed to get a flight the next day and I couldn’t drive her to the airport but the staff went above and beyond to help us find the best solution to get her there. Would visit again!

We stayed at the Delta Marriott Bristol the night before attending a loved one’s funeral. After a long journey home from a Greek island cruise, we were utterly exhausted and needed a restful night. You would think booking with a Marriott hotel would guarantee this. Instead, our experience was shockingly poor. Our first room had half a curtain, leaving us with no privacy and sunlight streaming in. This is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one carrying the Marriott name. The room was dirty and one of the complimentary water bottles had already been opened. We also overheard other guests complaining, so clearly this was not an isolated incident. When we raised the issue, we were told there were no replacement rooms available. This was later proven to be untrue, which only highlights the lack of honesty, empathy and basic customer care. The staff response was lethargic and dismissive – a mumbled “sorry” with no real attempt to resolve the problem. This was an incredibly important night for us, yet the hotel’s disregard for guest wellbeing, coupled with its poor cleanliness and misrepresentation about room availability, has left a lasting bad impression. The Marriott brand used to stand for quality and trust. Sadly, this property is doing nothing to uphold that reputation. I will not be returning and would urge anyone considering staying here to think twice. For the price, you deserve far better than this.

We checked-in at the hotel and they promised us housekeeping would be done everyday for the duration of our stay. We had to beat our head up over this as we requested for it over 5-6 times on different days and still it was not done. On the 3rd day of our stay someone did come to do housekeeping but they just made our bed and left. The bathroom was left uncleared, the bins were not replaced and our tea cups remained unchanged. Highly disappointing and non polite staff. I was rather offered compliment drinks….what will I do with that when my room remains uncleaned? Do not recommend it.
