Good place to stay and convenient for what we needed. Disappointed that for a Marriott Hotel this place did not have air conditioning! Without sufficient air movement the room became stifling and impaired sleep! Should be something that needs to be remedied sooner rather than later, given Heat wave conditions hitting the UK!
Be aware this hotel does not have AC in the rooms, and that is not called out in the Marriott app. The windows only open 3cm. Sure, they give you a small fan. I was supposed to stay 2 days in the middle of July, stayed about 20 minutes. It was 32C in the room (28 outside at this time) and smelled horrible because of it. I demanded a refund… At first he claimed her couldn’t process it and it would have to be in the tomorrow when the manager was in. When pressed, he figured it out. Just avoid any Delta Hotels in England, nothing but horrible experiences
We went there for a charity gala event. My wife is disabled and couldn't use a disabled toilets because it was in a diabolical state. When I told the reception he just shrugged it off and walked away. And hour later we wanted to use the toilet again and it was still in the same condition.
