I have been to many Delta hotels as a Bonvoy Titanium, mostly in the Northwest US. This one was pretty good. They upgraded me which was nice of them. They could use more elevators so that was a little slow. I wish the pantry was on the top floor instead of the basement, it’s difficult to make your way down there! Overall staff greeted me by last name and status, for NYC, the room was larger, and being on a top floor i did not hear much noise. Also, compared to cheaper brands like Courtyard and Farfield, this location was priced better. Thanks!
The room was very nice, clean, bed was comfy, and location was great for us, but it isn’t in time square which was okay for us but maybe others would want to know. The front desk staff were great friendly and quick. We ordered breakfast package with our stay, the staff at the restaurant was awful gave us water and completely forgot about us… then asked us for our room number 3 different times and checking her list to make sure we had the package. Not very organized and not a lot of options for breakfast. This isn’t typical morning breakfast options you normally get at hotels. Only a couple other people in the restaurant and still Very slow service. Was very disappointed as we just wanted to get breakfast and start our day.
Let’s start with the positives: Excellent location, close to Times Square. Areas for improvement: The front desk service was lacking. We arrived at 1:30 AM — a couple with three children — and booked the room accordingly, receiving confirmation for five people. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find there was no place for the fifth child to sleep. The receptionist was, to say the least, quite unfriendly. For example, she didn’t even mention that drinking water was available in the hallway, and we had to go out at night to buy water. The shower had no door, so water spilled out onto the floor. The sofa was not clean. In summary: excellent location, but the service needs significant improvement.
