Just Okay Could Be Better for the Price Our stay at the Delta Hotel was fine, but nothing to rave about. The rooms were clean and the location was convenient, but there were a couple of things that could definitely be improved. The beds were way too firm, not the most comfortable for a good night’s sleep. A little more comfort would go a long way. Also, breakfast was disappointing. They charge for it, but it’s the same kind of basic breakfast that many other hotels include for free. Offering a complimentary breakfast would really improve the overall value. The pool was great but the hot tub that was part of the reason we book here. Was not hot it was not hot at all which is something we enjoy after a day at the parks. Not a bad stay, but with a few small changes, it could be a much better experience.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the reception upon arrival was welcoming, and the location worked well as a base for getting around — convenient and central. However, several issues affected our overall comfort. The biggest concern was the room itself (4413), which had a constant dank, musty smell that never really went away. Housekeeping was inconsistent throughout our stay, and on one occasion, no one came to service the room. When we tried to call housekeeping twice from the room phone, both calls unexpectedly connected to 911 — a surprising and unsettling experience. In fact some days they only made the bed and emptied the bin and left cleaning the sink, toilet or shower/bath. I don’t believe they even hoovered the whole 10 days we were there as we left something on the floor and when we vacated the room it was still there. We even had to leave a note for the housekeeper to fill the shower gel up which was empty. Attention to detail is everything. The room also suffered from a significant lack of natural light due to a large tree directly outside the window, making it feel quite dark and closed in. We were told during booking that an upgrade to a pool room was possible, but despite repeated requests, it was never “available” even though the hotel did not appear to be at full capacity. The hotel appears to be dog friendly and whilst I have no issues with this it did mean that piles of dog poo were all around the reef building which is disgusting. Cannot comment on other facilities as we never used these though the grounds were well maintained Overall, while the hotel has potential and works well as a base, it’s in need of some attention and updates — particularly in the rooms and internal systems. A bit of investment and improved communication with guests could make a big difference.

If I could give zero stars I would!! This place is disgusting do not be deceived by the lobby. Rooms and hallways are smoky. Our first room was used towels used in the bathtub trash cans full beds not made glasses used SOAP USED. We asked for them to switch us. They did well when we got to that room there was stains on the floor but we were like at least it’s clean then I get up from peeing and see huge roaches scatter everywhere room behind a painting. We went down and got a refund. I understand it’s Florida however I have stayed at many places in Florida and never had a roach problem. Do better.
