Delta Hotels by Marriott Virginia Beach Waterfront Suites

The food at restaurant was amazing. Service was good not great. We waited a long time between drinks to food. The room was nice but had finger prints on mirror in living room and bedroom wall. (Pictures). My feet were black after walking around the room. The fridge was insane. Not a real fridge, can’t even hold leftovers. Room and whole hotel were beautiful, but the rooms lacked lighting. (Terribly!) Amazing views and beach. The hotel was just seriously over booked. Four events on one night. All those people at the pools, elevators and restaurants. The pets didn’t bother me as much as the towels and trash left at the pool. Also, we paid $30/day to park when the main lot was taken up by some tour busses!

The location is nice (right on beach). The included breakfast buffet was pretty good. No bugs. You won't die staying here. CONS: Elevators are slow. You will be waiting. Be prepared! They will add $30 A DAY to your bill to park on their property. The Marijuana smell from the other guests was overwhelming while sitting on deck. The hotel is noisy. You will hear doors slamming all night. Curtains were stained. The pool is smaller than it appears in photographs. Parking spaces small (Good luck if you have a truck) Not the worst place I've ever stayed, but not a 4 star property.

I was having a wonderful and relaxing time. It was my first getaway for the summer from work. Check in was fine. When it was our last day there, me and my husband were getting ready, the housekeeper barged in our room @10:15. Check out time is 11am. I felt rushed and violated. I did want to come back but I have to think about it. As I checked out I asked for a manager but the person that checked me out said he was a supervisor. He took off for parking which I was there from Friday-Sunday. He apologized but was expecting something more. For housekeeping to do that ruined my whole experience. August 1-3.
