Delta Hotels by Marriott Woodbridge

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I encountered a deeply distressing and unacceptable experience upon my arrival at the hotel around 12:15 AM on 13-July after a 9-hour drive. There was no one at the front desk or in the reception area to assist with check-in. A lone security guard informed me that none of the night shift staff had shown up, and the day shift had failed to leave keys or instructions for arriving guests. I had a crucial business meeting early the next morning. Despite the security guard’s attempts to contact hotel staff, no one responded. After waiting over an hour, I was left with no option but to find another hotel nearby. This situation was completely unacceptable—particularly from a Marriott-branded 4-star property. What added to my frustration was the lack of follow-up: no one from the hotel contacted me the next day or thereafter to apologize or address what happened. I spoke with a manager on July 15, who refunded the room charge and assured me someone would follow up to discuss further compensation. However, despite calling the hotel at least six times since, I have not received any meaningful response or follow-up. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and lack of accountability. I expected more from Marriott. Definitely not booking any more Marriott properties for my future travel needs.

It's experiences like these I wish hotels like this one get a whole new revamp done. From hotel manager all the way to front desk personnel. Not sure why I have to call this hotel over 6 times spanning over two days?!?! In a turtle shell, I was charged 445 instead of the 100 incidental fee. I tried calling and calling, to no avail I got nothing. So I called again and got the response as if I was making it up. Either way, please avoid this maybe 3 star hotel. Claiming that it's a four, you must have paid for those reviews... So lesson learned. Any other hotel, motel and or Inn would be better. I wished I was treated with a little class, I know my ethnicity and social class are not the type of folks you want to do business with. Yet my money is as green as them (those ones who get the special treatment) Hilton take over please!!!!

Stayed at the Delta Hotel and we were not happy with our stay. I reserved a room with two queen beds and when I checked in, I was told my room was no longer available. When I asked the front desk personnel how my room was given to somebody else, they responded with it was unfortunately given to another guest. They offered me a king size bedroom and my family had to make do with the situation. Two children and my wife in the bed and I slept on an old couch. The front desk personnel had promised to make things right by giving me hotel points but that has not happened. I’ve left three messages for the manager and still have not received a call back. Do not stay here. This hotel does not understand the definition of a reservation.
