We stayed there overnight during our journey, the exterior and interior design of the building is something else, a beautiful, old-style tenement. The reception staff was very nice and helpful, explained everything we wanted to know, our room was cozy and clean, comfortable beds and even a mini-bar. The location of this hotel is just perfect for tourists passing by through Prague as well, just a 10 minute-walk from the train station, pretty close to the Vltava river, reaching Prague's sights and places of interest shouldn't be a problem for those who like a stroll through the streets. There are multiple cafes, bars and restaurants in the area, open till late evening so you will find something to grab a bite, even if you arrive at the hotel late, and another big plus of this hotel, a 24/7 reception, just perfect. I strongly recommend and will definitely return here when visiting Prague again.
The rooms were clean and spacious. Sleeping at night was nearly impossible due to the 30-degree heat; the fan provided was very noisy and ineffective. There was no soundproofing at all, so I heard all sorts of noises throughout the night. We booked a twin room but received a double bed at check-in. It was 7pm, and the reception told us they would split the bed during the next housekeeping, so I had to sleep on the sofa for the night. Surprisingly, I went to the reception the next morning to remind them about splitting the bed, but I returned to find the same double bed with no splitting done. The staff were generally friendly, but the service was not professional.
Don’t expect anything close to a palace. It’s a small, older hotel with an infrastructure that doesn’t really deserve 4 stars. The bathroom has a slow boiler for hot water, and there isn’t even a glass for your toothbrush or other items. Room dusty atmosphere. OK if you just spend a few days for business. Price is OK and room has alot of space. Staff is really friendly. Hotel is close to the center so really nice if you don‘t mind very simple infrastructure.
