We booked the Celebration Package along with early check-in, but unfortunately, the early check-in wasn’t available upon arrival—the room wasn’t ready until 4pm, despite the early check-in being advertised from 12pm. This was disappointing as we had planned our day around arriving early. The main waiting area and the hotel itself were pleasant, and the service staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. However, we observed the female manager (older than the rest of the team) speak quite unkindly and unprofessionally to staff members on several occasions in front of us. While she was polite to us, the way she addressed her team made us uncomfortable and didn’t reflect well on the overall atmosphere. The wine flight was enjoyable and the wine itself was excellent. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the same standard. The focaccia was dry, the arancini ball was not warm in the middle, and while the salmon dish was tasty, it was overly salty. The pork belly was average—nothing particularly special. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable, providing a good night’s rest. The breakfast the next morning was the highlight of our meals—it was hot, tasty, and served promptly. Overall, a mixed experience: some lovely aspects, particularly the wine and breakfast, but let down by service inconsistencies and food that didn’t quite deliver on expectations for a celebration package.

Whilst the setting is beautiful, we had a terrible meal at the restaurant at the vineyard hotel. The service was very slow, with 55 minutes from arrival to bread being served. We asked for olive oil with the bread and they brought cooking oil. We mentioned this to staff but nothing was done. The food was clearly bought in, not prepared freshly on site. This was particularly evident with the pate and the desserts. The vegetarian options were particularly bland. How they made shimeji mushrooms taste like nothing, I'm not sure. It's such a shame given the stunning setting and restaurant. This place has the potential to be incredible but is so underwhelming that it makes me regret choosing to eat here. Save your money and eat elsewhere. Just come for a drink and to enjoy the views. Finally, it's worth pointing out that the menu on the website is nothing like the menu in the actual restaurant. The menu on the website suggests that it's a fine dining restaurant whilst the menu on arrival resembles that of a mid range pub.
