Conveniently located with wonderful customer service! Best stocked convenience store. Lovely public spaces. Looks like it would be ideal for work meetings, too. Kids loved indoor and outdoor pools. Pint Brothers was kid friendly and had yummy food. We were there on July 4th and were surrounded by fireworks displays. Our en-suite bathrooms had sliding doors. Make sure you understand all the charges like parking so you won’t be surprised.
I travel a lot & use Marriott almost exclusively. I’m highly disappointed in this particular location for a few reasons. First, the redeeming quality is the restaurant/lounge Pint House. Great atmosphere, plenty of space, professional staff & great food. The food market is nicely stocked & serves Starbucks with a smile. The front lobby is clean, open & welcoming. However, the rooms……. that’s another story. The elevators are poorly maintained & dirty. Halls need a deep cleaning & usually have built up dirt lingering depending on where you’re standing. I paid for an “upgrade” to mountain view with a balcony, which was a bit more money. The foyer was spacious but our windows were so dirty we couldn’t see much. Mountain view actually means staring directly at the interstate (Rt25) with roaring traffic 24/7 and a 24” deep balcony with no seating, with mountains in the great distance. This “upgrade” is noisy & not worth your investment. Our ac was inefficient & failed to provide cool air with a fan as loud as the traffic on the interstate. The shower was filthy & left in wet condition with hair (not mine) on the shower wall by housekeeping (pic provided). Shower temps range between scalding & freezing with no happy medium. Bathroom door handle was sticky with built up dirt on the handle. Bathroom floor & foyer were both sticky. Beds were wrinkled & messy but clean. After having traveled all day to finally get my keys at 7:30pm and needing to be out of the room early the next morning, I did not call the front desk regarding my cleanliness issues since they wouldn’t have any housekeepers available to readdress the room at that hour & I wasn’t comfortable leaving professional equipment in my room all day with housekeeping entering the room. It should’ve been cleaned the first time, especially since I waited an eternity for my keys. After looking around the rest of the establishment, my room wasn’t a rare incident but rather a continuation of the lack of attention and detail from housekeeping. For $400/night I expected cleanliness & fluffy pillows. I got the equivalent of a Motel 6 with my room with a great off in the distance mountain view but had a freeway in my face. I won’t be returning to this location. This is not the Marriott standard.
Hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Smelly, dirty, dark, outdated. Huge stains on the carpet. Every towel was threadbare and stained. Had to keep A/C blasting at all times to help mask the nasty smell. Difficult to keep track of your stuff in the room because it's SO dark -- and of course that's because decent lighting would reveal even more nasty issues with the rooms. I will absolutely never stay here again. If every other hotel in Denver is booked, I'll stay in another city and commute to Denver each day. I'd sleep in a free shelter before I'd stay here again. If they refunded my visit and offered me free stays for life, I'd still choose a cardboard box on the street.
